Finally. America has done something that I can actually say I'm proud of. I can't remember any decision [especially in the past 8 years] that the USA has made that made me actually proud for at least one little moment to be American. If there ever was a time to be proud; Obama winning is that time.

I watched the whole thing on TV; I was so happy when I saw Obama's numbers going up- he actually won some former red states, too! [P.s. Comet.. sorry for calling you at like midnight your time, I forgot about the time zones for a moment.. I just wanted to tell you that your state turned blue for this election! ]

The only time I've ever thought of McCain in a positive way was last night; I liked his ending speech and how he congratulated Obama; one thing that I really didn't like though was McCain's crowd. I felt bad for him. Here he was making a speech and his crowd was SO rude; shouting like they were at some kind of sports game. You could tell that he was getting irritated.
Also.. this made me cringe; they polled the people at the McCain speech afterward and it said that 50% of the people there said they were "afraid of Obama". What? So, in other words, they're basically saying "I voted for McCain because I'm racist" [though I know they may have voted for him for other reasons as well]. I just.. wow. I don't know what to say to that other then that I know that some rednecks in America are still stuck back a hundred years in their thinking, but I just.. I just find that really pathetic.

I understand that their are people who just don't agree with Obama because they don't like his policies, and I think that's totally fine; everyone has their own opinion and I respect that even if I don't agree with it. I just don't like it when people decide not to chose someone because of their race.

However, Obama's speech was amazing, too. <3 I'm so happy to have him as our next president.

I heard some rumors of people saying he may get assassinated...well, let's just say, if that ever happens I hope the USA goes into anarchy for a while; I know there would be SO many riots and that would teach those damned rednecks that not everyone else is stuck back a million years like them :]
But I don't like to think about that; I'll just say it won't happen. It better not happen or there will be hell to pay to say the least.

I'm so glad :]

Well.. I shouldn't say that, considering conservative or not, Canada has a lot of things the USA doesn't, right? Haha, thats why some people said that if McCain wins they would move to Canada.

Yeah, x__x people expect him to come into office and magically everything will be back to being ok.. but that's unrealistic; though I think that he will get things done much faster than McCain ever would.. I can't wait for Bush to be out of the white house. Besides, Obama's ideas on the war are much better [Ugh.. Bush and his stupid war...]}
